How does it work?

Helping families stay informed — without adding to your workload
Schools already share a huge amount of information with parents. Newsletters, emails, reminders, trip details — all carefully written and sent out on time.
But despite best efforts, things still get missed.
Pipa exists to help with that — without changing how you communicate.
How it works for schools
Pipa is free for schools to use.
Each week, you simply send us the text version of your newsletter (or key updates). No PDFs, no attachments, no formatting required — just the same content you already write.
Pipa then uses that information to create clear, optional reminders for parents who choose to sign up.
There’s no additional communication required from the school, and no need to manage parent accounts.
What parents receive
Parents who opt in receive:
- reminders about upcoming events
- notices about trips, deadlines and key dates
- prompts for things like PE kits, consent forms and pickups
All reminders are based only on your official school information, delivered in a simple, calm format.
Parents sign up themselves and can opt out at any time.
What this means for your school
- Fewer missed dates and deadlines
- Fewer last-minute questions from parents
- Less “we didn’t realise” follow-ups
- A calmer experience for families
Pipa doesn’t replace your newsletter — it simply helps parents engage with it more effectively.
Important to know
- Pipa is optional for parents
- Schools do not receive parent data
- No parent information is shared back with the school
- Pipa never edits or rewrites your content
- If something isn’t clear, it isn’t guessed
Your role remains exactly the same.
A thank you to participating schools
To support schools who take part:
- Parents receive a discount when signing up through their school
- In future, we plan to introduce small prizes or contributions for schools with high participation
These will always be optional, positive and community-focused.
Getting started
If you’re interested:
- Register your school (free)
- Send your newsletter text to Pipa
- Share the optional signup link with parents
That’s it.
Pipa helps families stay organised — using the information you already provide.
